When it comes to toxins in your surroundings, ignorance is not bliss. Hazardous environmental pollutants may include PCBs that can increase cancer risk and hamper a baby’s brain development; pesticides connected to cancer, birth defects, and Parkinson’s disease; endocrine-disrupting phthalates found in personal care products; toxic heavy metals expected to accumulate in the soft tissue of the body; and much more.
Researchers established what we already suspected: damaging environmental substances, including cigarette smoke and benzene, can age you prematurely. For the younger, developing population, this risk is even larger.
The human body consists of 80% of the connective tissue. It offers protection and nourishment of all its cells. As toxic substances gather in particular tissues, they in part or totally block cell nourishment and the cells in that environment become poisoned and obsolete.
An alternate sort of rash (acne, boils), destruction (diathesis, eczema) and other skin problems often reflect the state of intoxication and cannot be solved only with the help of cosmetic products (creams, ointments, etc.). But that’s not all. Toxins are spread during pregnancy from mother to child can become a cause of his illness sometimes even into adulthood.
Our susceptibility to the countless types of toxins we are exposed to depends on:
- the total chemical burden of the body
- the amount chemicals that need to be rendered harmless
- their lifestyle
- their general health
Unless people take steps to regularly detoxify, those who are exposed to too many toxins – and that would be the vast majority of people – their system will most likely become overloaded with toxins. There are many benefits accompanying detoxification that will thwart the many problems that can occur in our lifestyles.
These problems can come about due to eating food contaminated with additives, hormones, and preservatives, or a diet that mainly contains highly processed food that is nutrient-deficient. Environmental toxins further contribute to the problem.
Unless the liver and other detoxification organs are able to handle this toxic load, they end up being stored in our fat cells (mostly the liver but also the brain) as well as cell membranes and other lipid tissues. Due to the existing chemical overload, any new chemicals entering the body cannot be metabolized.
Where are toxins stored in the body?
Toxins that cannot be processed out through the detoxification systems (liver), are stored into fatty tissues: the connective tissue, muscle tissue, and nerve tissue (Myelin – the fatty sheath of insulation that lines all of your nerves), tissues of the brain and endocrine’s. These cells can begin to amass toxins within their membranes and inner lumen areas. Toxins also get deposited in cysts, lipomas, and other benign tumors.
What are the effects of toxins in the body?
Toxins harm with short and long term effect and will affect most every part of the body from the physical to energy field to DNA. When cells in one organ or gland become injured due to a build-up of toxins – dysfunction will occur.

What are the signs and symptoms of toxicity in your body?
Symptoms of toxins vary in individuals because the amount of body toxins present, and where they are built-up, differ from one person to another.
If you have the first signs of toxin build-up, it is better to eliminate them by doing a full body cleanse before it blows out of proportion and becomes the signs of disease.
Here are the first and light symptoms of toxins build up in your body. If you experience any of the following, it is the likely time for a detox.
- A white, sticky stuff coating your tongue in the morning
- Bad breath and coated tongue – foul smelling breath caused by unhealthy/bad digestion from a backed-up colon or periodontal disease
- Indigestion, and you feel boated with gas, after a normal meal
- You love eating junk foods or craving for unhealthy food or you lack appetite
- All you want to do after a meal is snooze
- You feel heavy
- A lack of mental clarity and your thinking is blur
- You suffer general aches and pains in your body
- You are not grounded
- You are not present in the moment
- You feel tired and lethargic, and all you want to do is rest
- Your sweat, urine and stools smell foul
- If you have excess mucous formation
- Your urine is not clear
- You just smell all over, and you do not know why. Bad smell equals detox time!
Plus having
- Lethargy often occurs with insomnia. If you commonly have lethargy, it is also a sign that your body is carrying extra unneeded weight in the form of undigested and incompletely digested food
- Insomnia. Toxin build up (especially estrogen build up) is a common cause of insomnia. If you find it difficult to sleep at night, it is time to look into a liver cleanse.
- Mental Fog. When your body can’t function properly, your brain can’t function properly, this causes mental fog or the inability to focus on tasks
- Fluid retentionand/or congested sinuses
- Increased belly or visceral fat
- Weight loss resistance
- Acne: skin break-outs is often a sign of toxicity in the blood or the liver.
As I mentioned HERE, body toxins build-up and can cause early toxicity symptoms of disease. If you do not cleanse the body and remove toxins, they can clog the:
- Digestive system and block your intestines, creating a sluggish colon with waste matter and bacteria
- Blood system and forms plaque.
- Hepatic system and block the tubules of your liver and the bile duct
- Urinary-genital system and block your kidney tubules, and block the fallopian tubes
- Lymphatic system where the lymphs in your body do a poor job of draining fluids from tissues
- Muscular system and affects contraction and relaxation of your muscles
- Nervous system where it not only affects the clarity of your mind but you experience low energy as well
To understand toxicity, you must understand the idea of total load or a total amount of stressors on your system at any one time. Think of total load like a glass filling over with water. It takes a certain amount to fill the glass and then, after a certain point, you put more in and it overflows.

When our detoxification system becomes overwhelmed and overloaded, we begin developing symptoms and get sick, but it may take years of accumulated stress and toxins to get to that point.

Further toxic build up and dispersal in the body are the roots of many health conditions and illnesses. And some of the advanced symptoms of the total load include things such as:
- Constipation or loose stools
- Hemorrhoids – varicose veins of the anus with pain, swelling and itching, often caused by constipation and lack of dietary fiber. 75 million Americans are suspected to suffer from hemorrhoid
- Weight gain -Toxin build up in the body (especially toxic hormone build up in the liver) is a common cause of excess weight gain and the inability to lose it.
- Depression – (see mental fog in first symptoms list), often helped with cleansing, exercise, and diet change.
- Headaches – includes sinus congestion, some causes are lack of water, exercise, toxic environment, lack of circulation, or allergies.
- Allergies and Food sensitivities
- Inflammation and Pain/fibromyalgia – joint pain, may be an over-acid body
- Arteriosclerosis
- High concentration of tri-glycerides
- Gall stones and Liver Stones
- Kidney stones, Gall stones, Liver Stones
- Infertility
- Glaucoma
- Bacterial infection
- Hormonal imbalances
- Premenstrual syndrome (PMS), breast soreness, vaginal infections,
- Liver, Lymphatic, urinary, reproductive ... pathways blockage
- General aches and pains
- Lower back pain
- Muscle and joint pains
- Loss of dexterity
- Nerves burning or acting up with spasms, peripheral neuropathy, etc.
- Yeast infection such as Candida albicans
- Fibroids, cysts and tumors, cancer
Those all symptoms of the body that is loaded with trapped non-flushable neurotoxins.
Check the list of Toxic Build up Symptoms – classified by organs and systems.
As you can see the accumulation of toxins and other biological residues is often a major cause of physical and mental conditions predisposing to disease.
Keep in mind a variety of these symptoms are non-specific and can indicate a toxic overload, a broad range of other issues, or sometimes nothing at all.
Look for instance at “burping”. It could either be a potential symptom of toxicity related to the digestive system and the liver, or it could simply be that you’ve accidentally swallowed some air. But if you simultaneously have a number symptoms on the list it is much more likely that you are suffering from a toxic overload.
So when revising this list, please keep this in mind and don’t jump to any hasty conclusions. When in doubt, you can always check with your doctor. There are a range of tests you can ask for including:
- blood glucose test
- lymph blood test
- food intolerance test
- liver blood test
- gallbladder function test
- liver function tests
- adrenal fatigue test
- h pylori breath test
- lung function test
- skin allergy test
- alcat test
Note that a lack of symptoms does not indicate that you should not do cleansing. As long as you are still alive and putting food in your mouth, you can decide to choose wisely and change the direction of your future.
To start on the road to health, you should detoxify from poisons, toxins, pollutants, etc.
